Yes and no, I have more faith in our new owners to find an adequate replacement before the season ends.
Oh for sure I just meant right now is the time to be offering contract extensions to players/staff, so I just hope it doesnt impact on that :)

Ante Kovacevic still there I presume? He's been quiet, haven't heard from him in ages..

The Vidmar Grand Plan®™ out the window.
If we loose Kurz as well, we will be starting from scratch once again.

So much for stability.

Someone around here said at the time "Its just talk, I'll wait to see action".

Looks like I was right

With Thomassen in and Boland back we are looking as strong as ever, but we are one CB injury away from our midfield and front third not mattering IMO.

Really need a backup CB quicksmart.

Halloran out for 12 weeks.

Do we go get a replacement or back the kids ??

I think Mileusnic and Kitto if need be is plenty of cover for Halloran. I like Hallorans work rate but he hasn't really been a stand out, just a solid consistent squad player.

Disappointing.
Feel confident that Kitto and Mile will be good cover and should improve with the increased game time.
With any luck Halloran will be back for a finals push.

After what I've seen from Kitto in recent weeks I'd have the kids in before him.

Could we also use this as an opportunity to get a CB in as cover ??

Agree on Kitto, has been very average and quite disappinting overall. I'd love to see Armiento and Pacifique get some time before him. They would only need to get 1 in 10 crosses to a teammate or score 1 out of 15 chances presented to be an upgrade on Kitto- actually on that basis Armiento has contributed more in 10 minutes already.

Also agree on the CB situation that we need cover, but they would likely just go to Daniel Mullen or NPL if needed.

Yes, Kitto has been subdued so far this season.
No big strapping ball playing Centre halves playing in SA?
