I feel that McGree’s talents will be wasted at DM.

I want him as high up the pitch as possible getting into goal scoring positions.

McGree has a knack of scoring goals from midfield unlike many other A-League mids, so I don’t understand why we would sacrifice that to accommodate Troisi.

I agree but it may be the only option we have if we want a dm with distribution.

I suppose boland and mcgree could rotate given the match situation so we wouldnt lose mcgrees creativity around the box altogether

For a few games early last season Isaias and Boland were playing as twin CMs, one would hold the structure while the other pushed forward. That's something that could work OK with McGree and Boland I think because they're both kind of natural box-to-box type players.

I reckon if we were to sign Troisi, it would/should be to play him as a second striker. Play either a 442 or a 352.

Seriously, pretty much a waste of visa spot if you ask me and if this is why clubs are pushing for a sixth visa spot, then please stop and promote young Aussies instead.

A Chinese third division player probably wouldn’t even be NPL level and will probably never play for the club.

Simply signing him is detrimental to the team as he takes up a valuable visa spot and if anything, the club should he receiving more backlash than what it is already.

This better not be true. This is almost as bad as appointing Muscat as coach. If he signs, I will refuse to support him.
