Best DM in the country, captain AND face of the club.

Would want to be a huge deal for us. Isaias loves it here but that sort of money would be hard to refuse.

Ilso definitely gone.
KK to play for the NPL team and basically trial for a new contract.
Vinni in contract negotiations.
"Brook was expected to sign a two year deal" Hopefully this means he's still in negotiations and not turning his back on the club.

Apparently Troisi may be interested in joining us. Personally I'd rather eat my own shit than see him in a reds shirt tbh.

I'd have him at the club, but on our terms.

Val is certainly campaigning for troisi as he has done over the years, i agree with you though I would struggle seeing him in red.

Im curious who is making these signings TBH, no manager no football director.

Val is making the signings, he's playing Football Manager.

Troisi is the exact type of player we need, just not the type of bloke.

Nathan Burns just released by the Nix. 31 now and injuries have probably ruined him, but still one of my absolute favourites.

Not yet how’d we’d fit him into the squad. We already have an abundance of wingers.

Euge as GK is brilliant wonder if he's worth also being backup to Izzo, or is that just holding back Margus more?

Agree on Troisi, would need to be a low-ball salary and he'd have to pull his head in. For both reasons i cant see it happening.

Arjen Robben? Honestly not interested, I'd be more excited to see Pacifique on our wing.

Hopefully Brook can have a breakthrough year, two year deal is backing him in, good stuff.

Robben would get people interested, but it does go against our youth ideals we supposedly have.

Unless you want to play him up top, then I'm all for it.

The real issue is our new manager is out in the media, yet the club hasn't said a word. Ditto with Eugene as coach, why wouldn't you announce it

Im not sure a true marquee player like robben would go against our youth ideals.

I would assume we can expect 2 marquees every season , last year was Isaias and baba. This doesnt change our approach to youth it just means our marquee is a winger rather than a DM.

I seriously doubt we would sign someone like Robben however I wouldnt expect an experienced manager like verbeek to come her with the promise of a shoe string budget.

All things considered thing seem to look promising but pleeeeeease no more fake dawns! We are worn out!

The quiet is deafening.

Weren't they supposed to announce the new trainer after the semi-final?
Or have I missed something.

I feel that the Eugene announcement might wait until preseason starts again.
