Looking at our squad, I think we should be looking at recruiting a number 10, DM, left back and striker to start. Then adding depth in defence with a left sided LB who can also play CB as well as an out and out CB.

I read today that former Victory LB Adama Traore is a free agent, that would be an amazing signing but would probably want a lot of money. I really wish that we went after Brad Inman but he's going to Brisbane unfortunately, would have made sense him being an SA boy as well and he is really versatile. Troisi could be the number 10, or even Burns (who is best mates with Djite) but I think Troisi is too expensive and Burns an injury risk. I really think it would be handy to bring in a big Australian for one of those main positions though so that we aren't totally relying on imports paying off.

Also worth mentioning, on transfermarkt Verbeek is listed as his preferred formation being 5-3-2. Not sure if this has been mentioned anywhere but if he wants to do that here we definitely need another couple of CB's.

He was definitely behind Mauk, but its never an indicator of development since. He hasnt had much football since then, Im surprised he didnt go back to the NPL to atleast get some playing time.
