A very sad moment if that's the case, but he will be back.

Thanks for the memories Isa and I wish you all the best. IMO he's our greatest ever player, even greater than Eugene and our club won't be the same without him.

Osama Malik's Al-Batin side were relegated from the Saudi top flight. Would anyone take him back if we decide to replace our GOAT with an Aussie player?

Definitely no Malik for me. Live him, but it's no coincidence that our Championship form began when he got injured and dropped out the side.

Re: Who's signed for next season
Is this official, official about Isaias leaving?
I've only found rumours and predictions.
The same regarding Eugene and Bruce joining the club.

Re: Who's signed for next season
I actually respect aloisi, he plays good football and has learnt in some of the biggest leagues in the world. I think he is one of the best managers in the country.Hilarious if true.
He can however be a bit of a doofus and the way he can be emotional during the match makes it quite comical.
I can imagine the mv aufc rivalry remaining healthy with aloisi on the side line in muscats absence lol.
Ppl who slap the label of truth on the 1st thing they hear, do it out of ignorance, convenience or cant be bothered picking through a thin layer of falsehood to find the real truth, or possibly even another lie

I rate Aloisi too but I think the ex Melbourne heart captain, then assistant coach then head coach going to their biggest rivals is good drama.
In terms of up and coming Australian coaches he is probably our best though.

Surprised people are against Malik returning, especially if he's signed as a DM which is where he is most effective imo.

Re: Who's signed for next season
We need to sign a DM, AM and striker, We will only have two visa spots left to fill these positions if we waste a visa spot on a Chinese player which will probably will do.
Our Australian DM options are Malik, Curran and Mahazi. Aiden O'Neill on loan, Milligan and Jedinak are very unlikely options.
Our Australian AM options are Vidosic and Troisi (very unlikely).
Our Australian Striking options are Juric (unlikely) or have Blackwood as our starting striker and have someone like Mebrathu, McGrath,Lokoli-Ngoy, Iredale and Sawyer as a backup.
Personally I'd sign either one of Vidosic or Malik and sign visa players to fill the other positions.
Which players would you guys sign and which spots would you guys sign a visa player for?

Re: Who's signed for next season
Don't forget we need at least a backup CB and a starting LB too.
We need 4 starters in my opinion if we intend to play the same formation. Verbeek may set us up completely different.

##CDM##-Boland
##CAM##

Edit-
Transfermarkt says that Verbeek favors a 5-3-2

Re: Who's signed for next season
The difficulty in replacing Isa is that he is that rarest of beasts, a controlling midfielder.
That said, so far all we have regarding this are some comments from Murray Shaw.

Re: Who's signed for next season
Depends on the quality of the Chinese player. A Shengqing Qu wouldn't go astray! We will only have two visa spots left to fill these positions if we waste a visa spot on a Chinese player which will probably will do.
