Would be silly to move to another club in a WC year. Just needs to ensure he has a good start to the ALM with us in (hopefully) September and he's a shoe-in for one of those 26 spots.

Konsta just re-signed for another year. Hopefully he can put his continual bad luck behind him and start stringing together consistent appearances.

I agree, I think going to the WC nets each player $250k or something. He could no doubt move to SFC for more money but why put WC selection in doubt with a new environment.

He loves the club, he won't go to Sydney.

I think he's a good squaddie, does well in the young socceroos. More useful that Konstand in my opinion and more likely to get a fee.

Hasn't really done a lot the past few seasons but he's struggled to secure a spot ahead of Juande and Isa which is understandable.

His best season was the one after Isa left and he was playing every week.

If he does go I hope we are bringing in a replacement as Isa and Juande are going to be a year older and slower.

Great result. Hard to believe he's only 27.

I know we've got a very similar squad to last season but consistency is key IMO. Having an overhaul each season doesn't work.

And we were a shade away from the granny last season.

We do need to be better but creating this solid foundation is part of that.

Halloran, Goody and maybe an X-factor (if I'm allowed to dream).
