Kosto only got a look-in because Kossie was a fan.
Anyone else will see a dud surely.

Ha, I didn't realize it was an old thread resurrected. Couldn't figure why everyone was asking why Juric wasn't signed, my bad.Yep I have deleted him of the list in my original post.

I believe Ferreira's contract is up in 2015, rather than 2014.

If he fits in the salary cap then awsome, if not then im not so convinced.Heard on twitter we may get Zambrotta.
Im not sold on paying big money for a rb marquee who has not played a game in over a year and is 36 .
Sure adp is the same age but he was still playing semi regularly in serie a and the cups.
Zambrotta could be the barc player our mew manager was talking about. News is that petrillo just got back from spain so an italian or spaniard is very possible

Re: Who's signed for next season
Zambrotta, 462 games for clubs and 98 caps for Italy.
Experience and professionalism is what he would bring to the club.
Can play left or right full back.
36 years old.
It's a long trip...

You guys nuts? Zambrotta is world class, could not give a fuck if he's old so long as the price is right.
All I need is some tasty waves, a cool buzz, and I'm fine.

Im not so bothered that he is old, ADP is a prime example of an older player that is still world class.
But IMO this is different, he has not had a club in over a year and at 36 you have to wonder what motivates such a great player to come back from not playing in over a year to play in the A-league.
I could be completely wrong and he may have the passion to grow the game and give back in the same way as ADP.
The thing is with Del Piero, Ono and Heskey is that they were all playing football regularly/ semi regularly prior to being signed and all 3 still had the hunger to win.
To me signing Zambrotta will be much more like the Michael Ballack signing at WSW that never eventuated resulting in him retiring as the money was not to his liking. In which WSW dodged a bullet this time

Would be funny if he came back. Wonder what the crowds opinion would be.
