Re: Who's signed for next season
Jero: Exhilarating and frustrating in equal measure. Still, lots of fond memories of the guy but he certainly doesn't do enough as a striker, had some good games on the wing though. Will keep those memories of Jero forever. Good guy!
I'd also put Ferreira as equally frustrating and thrilling. Goes missing a bit when the game isn't working for him. I hope he has a more consistent year.
Moving on Watto I would understand. He has certainly improved under Josep and has changed from much maligned to a solid midfielder but we should be aiming for more than serviceable IMO.

Tend to feel the same. Loved the guy but we don't really have a place for him. The emergence of Mabil is also providing us with a wide option that costs far less and supports the localisation objective.Happy if that's the case, good goalscorer but it was evident when he played up top we were a much poorer side, barely has an impact out wide.
At the end of the day he was a foreigner who wasn't in our best 11.

I'm going to miss yelling out "JERONIMO" whenever he scores.
" There was, he added, no room for spin, showmanship, hubris or “any of the feelings of invincibility” that so often shackle nations with an imperial past ... " - - -

If Gomby is happy with him, then I'm happy with him.

His name actually came up in conversation with gombau as he coached him at barca.Hold up is there another Jon toral that is not the one currently at arsenal?? Surely he is not coming here.
Would definitely be a step up loaning players from big clubs that for sure but i thought he was more of a midfielder?

Re: Who's signed for next season
I really don't get into social media debates but reading some of the comments made by United fans on the A-League status about Jeronimo's move makes me want to have a say... I know it'll acheive nothing but there's some real dimwits out there :/
"don't bother coming to the Malaga game then Jeronimo...we don't want you there"
...they infuriate me...
This one just made me laugh
"atleast he wont score when he comes to hindmarsh since he doesnt score there ever"
