What's so amazing to me is that somehow we always seem to have another good youngster ready to give it a go. And not rubbish. Actually good. How many former AUFC juniors are now making a living at other clubs? We're getting something right. Just wish we had the cash as well.

remember that negotiating, does not guarantee a player will sign - im aware he's also held talks with the mariners.

Cavallo shot himself in the foot when he wanted to tell the world he was coming out so he could go to the World Cup , he was never a chance of going there to play . I don’t care what he does with his life that’s his business but I just hate it when they have to make a song and dance about it . Just do what we all do just get on with ur life .

Google tells me he's a 21 yo defensive midfielder who made his debut with Roar before amassing 34 appearances for Victory since 2019. Adelaide boy too.

Can't recall I've ever heard his name but that's decent experience.

Again a puzzling signing if we have youngsters waiting in the wings, but perhaps this bloke is a bit older and more experienced than the others.

Yes I was reading his dad was a West Adelaide player. Sounds like it's good to get him home.

Mike Barnett was instrumental in the rise of Metrostars, he came in after Boffa had already done a good job and filled the trophy cabinet quickly.

I would have been all for signing Jay when Brisbane did a few years ago but now, honestly I can't think of a position we need filled less.

Maybe it's an eye to next season with Juande gone, Isa maybe follows.
