Re: Who's signed for next season
I'm wondering how much the anticipated "new owners, who never were" affected the planning for this season.

Re: Who's signed for next season
Fair call on his age but depending on his conditioning he can still be effective. He knows the league and he's quality.
I'm probably more excited about Bernardo than any of our other youngsters but he's not a week in week out starting number 10 yet. Especially after a long injury layoff. Neither is Yull or Raphael.

I'd take him. Clough won't be the answer due to injuries. He would be a very good get!

Re: Who's signed for next season
Mierzejewski would be amazing.
Mauk, we know what he can do : he'd be an upgrade in our midfield for sure but he's not really a 10

All I need is some tasty waves, a cool buzz, and I'm fine.
Re: Who's signed for next season
Mauk is an interesting player.
He's not a 10 but he's more than a second striker.
Would take him back too.

I'd take Mauk back. I'd also take Raphael.

I think he meant Raphael Borges Rodrigues (Cristano’s son) but Raphael Lea’i is a baller. Would love to have him if we need a winger. This guy? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rafael_(f ... born_1990)

VDS out for 3 months (must be close to the full season??) after tearing his medial meniscus in training.

Bummer, poor guy.
VDS was looking better and better with each game he played in.

Big loss this
Time for a defensive injury replacement perhaps, now Mori junior has gone ?
How long is Warland out ?
Re: Who's signed for next season
For a team that was praised for blooding youngsters we had only Popa, Gauci and Madanha out there tonight (the latter only in due to Lopez being injured).
Disappointing shift in focus from the club as it seemed to be working well for us in seasons past.
CCM on the other hand have taken our formula to the next level and it's brilliant to watch.
