Who's signed for next season

Clough confirmed by club for 2 more seasons. I'm optimistic, he's had some time now and with a full pre season we might get the best out of him.

Need another striker, one or two centre backs and a left and right back at minimum. Will probably get 2 wingers and another 6 haha.

We are linked with Van der Saag who I’m happy with as a backup option since there are no South Australians available.

We definitely need a CB with Jakobsen leaving (hopefully one of Deng, Koutroumbis or Warland), a LB as competition/backup for Kitto, a right footed winger (hopefully one of a number of available South Australians) and a striker (hopefully AP).

Of the out of contract players, Barr, Popovic and Ansell have re-signed so that leaves Delianov, Kitto, Konstand, Yull, Alagich, Irankunda and the two loanees.

Would keep all of them bar Konstand.

Don’t really buy the whole “he wasn’t fit” thing since he played 23 games in England (only 3 goals, 2 assists) last season before coming here. Just not good enough

That's a pity, though I wasn't sure how much longer his body was going to hold up.

He offered solid on-field leadership which will be missed.

I think Jako's papers were stamped when he decided to drive 105km/h in a 50km/h zone along Fairfield Rd in Elizabeth in January.... If there was any doubt, that was the tipping point.

With Barr and Poppa we are ok but clearly need someone else. Clearly nobody wants to touch Tongyik with some off-field issues but he's played for the NT is still only 25 and is a local lad. Still need that Marrone-type defender that can play CB-RB or CB-LB, versality is gold in a salary capped league.

Ibusuki signed on for 2, so again looking for a different type of striker to compliment him and who may have to play second fiddle with Yengi confirmed at WSW. Apostolos Stam ticks all the boxes there.

Clough signing on, well I am on the fence here, showed glimpses but in that role I want a 29 year old Carrusca or Flores, so he has some work to do, who knows maybe Blackwood will surprise us all again. Hopefully Yull, Alagich and D'Arrigo can steal some minutes from "dos viejos" - but otherwise the middle of the park looks capable.

Our goals will come from the wings, not sure if Goodwin has resigned, that's clearly job #1. With Bernardo, Irankunda and hopefully Brook I feel like we are ok, there were big wraps on Kasumovic with a full pre-season he could get some minutes. I still haven't put a line through AH Toure who can play wing or up top or Costanzo.
