Re: Who's signed for next season
Pretty underwhelming signings apart from Isaías. Not sure what's happened with our foreign recruitment in recent years but gone are the days of Sergio Van Dijk, Cirio, Carrusca, Rech, Qu, Cassio etc.

Re: Who's signed for next season
We used to be one of the more innovative clubs when it came to recruiting of foreigners. That seems to have stopped when Petrillo moved on to City who now seem to be similar to how we were albeit with better coffers to support him.
Agree that besides Isa, signings are all pretty meh

Even Absalonsen, Boland, Adlung, Diawara were good if injured too much.
Now we have nothing.
On the positives, Yull seems to be doing well, pity we have a wealth of CM's.

Re: Who's signed for next season
I do think that’s a bit harsh. Jakobsen is probably one of our best ever CB’s while Lopez is a real coup. Juande is a good player but one we don’t actually need.Even Absalonsen, Boland, Adlung, Diawara were good if injured too much.

In terms of our CM/DM options, we do need to offload someone (cough, Caletti, cough). There’s no point in having 7 players in that role plus a couple of scholarship mids as well, especially when we are so cash strapped.

Fair enough, Lopez probably joins the above group of good but injured far too much, Jako has been solid.I do think that’s a bit harsh. I'm guessing D'Arrigo gets pushed (again) to No10 this year and we go 6: Isa, 8: Mauk and 10: D'Arrigo.
Leaving Juande to cover injuries in CM and RB, hopefully Yull off the bench regularly and yes Piano man needs to go. If Cavallo plays LB it's really only CB lacking and depth.

Isaias, Tratt and Blackwood have started training. No idea about Ansell.

I'll wait for the pre-season games.

Konstandopoulus will be fighting for the 10 role when/if he gets fully fit. Decent player if he can keep his knees together.Fair enough, Lopez probably joins the above group of good but injured far too much, Jako has been solid.I do think that’s a bit harsh. Is the injury from last season or something new?

No point releasing Dakota and then bringing him back 2-3 months later if it was the same injury.

Re: Who's signed for next season
So frustrating for Joe. I really feel for any player who picks up a serious injury during pre-season. The off-season is far too long as is and now Joe has to add an extra couple of months to it. Plus that gives Delianov time to cement his place as #1 keeper.
Time to Djbate!
