Ryan's still contracted for another year at Bradford while Dylan is on loan at Gangwon until the end of the year. Gangwon can also sign him for an extra two years after that.

I would love to see Dylan back but I just can't see it happening.
I think I heard somewhere that Dylan hasn't played a minute of professional football since leaving AUFC. I haven't fact checked that though so I could be mistaken.

Edit- his wiki says he's played 8 games for Gangwon, my mistake
Yeah his wiki said that only a few days ago.

I really dont respect any contracts in the wealthy asian leagues, its very rare that players fulfill the whole contract.

That being said i was under the impression mcgowan was not playing, so that changes everything

According to Transfermarkt, he has played a total of 16 games since he left AUFC. 8 for his Portuguese club and 8 for his loan club in Korea.

It's only been a year since he left and I always thought one of the main reasons he left was to give playing OS another crack, so I don't think he'll be back anytime soon.

Would love to see him and Elsey form our centre-back pairing tho! Fingers crossed Kurz and our new owners can convince him to come back.

I wouldn't mind throwing some coin at Leroy George to see if he'd come here. Fantastic player, exactly what you want from a Visa signing. It would be even better to find the next Leroy George. He came from second division Turkey and I don't think he was on a heap of money and he's only just turned 31. He finished the season with 9 goals and 14 assists from 29 games, imagine what he could've done with a decent coach.

Johnathan Aspro left WSW to sign for another HAL team. Warland replacement maybe? I'd be happy if he signed for us.

EDIT: signed for CCM

Jaksobsen 2 year deal.

Better than Gulum IMO but takes up a visa spot.

Him and Elsey will be rocks.

Really good signing that.
He has a calm head and should make us even more solid in defence.
Also agree he is better than Gulum.
We are UNITED, after all....

Anyone else bloody stoked we are making signings now rather than last minute like under the previous owners?!

They used to delay as long as possible to save a buck on wages at the expense of team cohesion.

Jakobsen's solid but unspectacular for the most part but has the occasional brain fart. Do not want.

Very disappointed with this signing especially since it's a two year deal.

He's a better version of Gulum.

And by a country mile...I don’t know about anybody else, but I used to hold my breath whenever Gullum went in for a tackle, and I’m still amazed that he only got one red card for the season. Probably had something to do with being out injured for quite a few matches. I didn’t think his distribution was anything to write home about either

Jakobsen on the other hand, from what I saw of him, always looked far more composed and in control.

Happy with Jakobsen. Looking forward to having him solidify our back line without being a massive liability.

I’m not a massive fan of using a visa spot on a centre back, given it’s one of not many positions where there is good depth in Aussie talent.

That being said, Jakobsen is a good player, should be very dependable. And offers good leadership which I think is one area we will miss Gulum

Real happy with Jakobsen signing. I really liked what Gulum offered the side generally and I feel Jakobsen should provide something quite similar.
With he and Elsey signed up that a key component of the squad taken care of.
If the club can now secure a high quality #10 I think there is no reason not to head into the next season with high expectations. Which naturally means the club will encounter another horror injury run!

Fantastic signing! Thats a strong cb partnership with Reagan keeping them honest from the bench, Isa playing infront of them. Thats a great defensive spine.

Now to find a genuine 10 and get Baba fit
