La flecha would have been a good 6 month signing for us as an aussie squaddie.

Can play out wide or give something different in the middle of the front third as he did at ccm. Although if he was to play as a central striker he would need a 10 to put a good ball in.

Most likely will be the other Strain brother. Not a disappointing signing but definitely not the one I think we need.

Apparently it's a European striker arriving Tuesday for a medical. Has been playing through December meaning they became a freee agent on Jan 1.
Nikola Djurdjic fits the bill imo, played for Fortuna Düsseldorf and most recently for Randers in Denmark.

I will die on the hill thinking we need a 10 much more than another striker, but our inactivity has gone on long enough that any warm body with two functioning arms and legs will be very welcome

Right now we need a bloke who can hit the target, we are getting enough chances.

Thought OD has been showing some real promise in that 'number 10' role at the moment. Certainly growing in stature each week.

Unfortunately Ferreira isn't Australian.

#10 definitely needed more than a striker. We had two CMs (Adlung and O'Doherty/Konstandopoulos) taking turns to play that AM role last night.

We need both IMO.

George is doing better each week but we still need a proven scorer. A Chelo type would be nice to put it on a platter but I'm still not confident when any of our guys are in front of goal

I think O'Doherty has the makings of a good 10, he just needs all the game time he can get with guys like Isa and Adlung backing him up.

It really is a shame about Johan. So much promise, yet injury has robbed us of him for so much of the season.

I think blackwood and our wingers will find it much easier with a 10.

Im happy with our front third if we can find a genuine 10. Most issues we currently have can be solved directly or indirectly by a good play maker.......... if only we didnt let an aussie citizen 10 willing to play on minimal salary go
