No, Elrich will be at the club recovering from his injury. Griffin basically said there was no point sacking him because he would not be playing for 12 months anyway. I don't know but it might be hard to sack Elrich anyway seeing he is injured.

Plus I don't think having an arguably incorrect opinion on TV is grounds to fire someone.
But to bring the injury into things is a new level of mean. He clearly would have said that with the intention of upsetting him. Long injury lay off are an emotional time for players I'm sure.
This surely isn't doing the club recruitment drive any favours!

That would be a very interesting battle. The professional players association taking on the head of the professional clubs association.
I doubt they will. But I'd be disappointed in them staying silent on this. This is nothing short of bullying.

Actually not a terrible first 11 and better that this time last year.

We need another player for each position but I actually think it wise to secure the best players we currently have (which I believe has been done) and leave the incoming coach with some flexibility to sign players he wants.

No the first time Greg has treated his staff this way. He is a bully and just a horrible human, I have seen and experienced it first hand!

Very quick to forget that Tarek signed at the club on minimum wage and has given his all both on and off the field ever since! To treat him the way he has is disgusting!

The sooner he moves on the sooner the club moves forward!

Just listened to the interview and couldnt believe griffins response when rowe said fans feel like there is a divide between fans and club and GG flat out said they were wrong and mentioned how great grant mayer is.

Grant mayer has half the aufc fan base blocked on twitter last time i checked...

We have some really good kids on our books, SA lads to boot, some of whom have stepped up this year. A full season of some strong local talent hitting its straps will be exciting......and that's not including any players we are currently looking at/in negotiations with.

As usual my main gripe will be the awfully long off-season.
