I guess the club doesn't need him playing inconsistently, they could start a young player if that's the result. But we all know how good Holland can be and IMO the club definitely needs that!I don't mean this to sound harsh because I don't hate him but...
I couldn't care less how much we'd get for him, I'd let him go for free if we don't need him.

Van't Schip has resigned. I wonder if that means they'll be looking at poaching Amor (that's been my fear all along)?
All I need is some tasty waves, a cool buzz, and I'm fine.

I'd like to think that they both have a bit more class than going to a rival but it is football, and it does happen.Waiting to hear Gombau will step in...Van't Schip has resigned. I wonder if that means they'll be looking at poaching Amor (that's been my fear all along)?

Haha Gombau to Melbourne City is surely nailed on.

I guess if all the players, coaches and backroom staff move to Melbourne City, it's okay for me to follow them as Adelaide United mk2?Haha Gombau to Melbourne City is surely nailed on.

I'd expect Amor to return to Spain or join Pep at Man City. As for Gombau, surely he'd see out some of his responsibility as Olyroos boss.

Re: Who's signed for next season
Holland didn't want to come. He has performed poorly. And now he wants to leave after a few months of poor performances to go and play in China when apparently he was hesitant to sign for us initially because he wanted to stay in Europe....
Great commitment!
At the end of the day the most disappointing thing about him has been a combination of his below average passing and lack of reliability when we're hit on the counter. Couple that with the fact he's next to useless in attack and you see how much we're missing the box to box Jeggo/Mauk type of player.
His effort for Sydney's first goal last week was poor as well.
I might sound harsh but I find it hard to muster any sympathy for a bloke who came to the club as a last resort, has performed poorly and apparently is looking for the first opportunity to parachute out.

With all the resources of the CFG, do they really need to poach the Olyroos coach that's only just come in?I guess if all the players, coaches and backroom staff move to Melbourne City, it's okay for me to follow them as Adelaide United mk2?Haha Gombau to Melbourne City is surely nailed on.

Amor was rumoured to be heading to City Group. Could be just another of those loan deals to get him to Melb City. A lot of what I liked about our club will be at Melb City soon. Will be hard.

Well said, couldn't agree more. Wasn't even professional enough to hide the fact that he was just here to put himself in the shop window. Didn't contribute enough in defense or attack, 1 good game and a couple of good moments, otherwise he was invisible or a liability. Square peg in a round hole.Holland didn't want to come. I'm glad that no one is saying that Holland is a shit player, it's just that he can't function in this team with Isaias as our true DM. Need that box-to-box mid asap, and for Amor to realise that he needs one too.

I don't think he's a shit player, but I do think he's both overrated and ineffective.

Re: Who's signed for next season
Im not sure why people are surprised hollands distribution has been lacking. This is not a normal part of his game.
He has mostly played as a dm who sits infront of the cbs and breaks up play and passes to the nearest ball playing mid.
I think we are being incredibly harsh if we are judging him on passing ability. Yes it hasnt been great but we have tried to convert him into something he is not.
It was an experiment we have been forced into. Luckily we could now target an asian box to box mid on reasonable salary as they will be able to play acl and aleague.

Re: Who's signed for next season
He's in our midfield, he needs to pass.
I thought his passing ability was one of the reasons he was so highly rated back in the Jets days and triggered his move to Europe anyway?
