I bet you would! I saw you're photos from last game. It was Euge, Euge and more Euge! Haha.

Yes this is the first season we've done it.
I did it for the ACL (which Euge did in fact win!) and then kept it going for the HAL season. Happy to keep doing it for future ACL and HAL campaigns!

I think it couldn't hurt to ask the sculptor for his ideas? He looks to have quite an imagination, so I'd start there

We need;

- To give the sculptor plenty of time
- A cost estimate, so we can start collating funds
- Ideas and to pick one.

I agree that something unique would be ideal. Kienchil - is your mate a Reds fan?

So some of the ideas that have been floated:
- The AUFC crest
- A Pissant
- A little sculpted statue of a player (e.g. a Golden Corny)
- Something simple and traditional (e.g. a cup)
- Others? (a Spawning Salmon?)

I like my own idea of the AUFC club crest and the pissant standing behind it. When it's displayed it will look classy and respectful, but when turned around it's got the pissant mentality to it

How about this.


We make a large AUFC shield with a plaque on the front with "We Are The Reds Fan Player Of The Season" then around that we put smaller plaques commemorating the player that's chosen each season, this is to (hopefully) go up for display at the club.

We then get some smaller pissants made to give to the players themselves each season.

This lets the players have their award and allows the club to have a display that hopefully people will get to see in the Reds Room or similar.

How about the bronzed AUFC shield set on a wooden larger shield with

"We Are The Reds"
Fans player on the season

Set/engraved onto the bronzed shield. Then have smaller engraved discs around the edge of the wooden shield

Hopefully have it displayed in the history room and then the winner gets a smaller memento trophy?

I think it would be better to display the trophy in the history room because anyone can see it on match day and I think it would be easier to organize with the AUFC history club.

I def like the idea of displaying the trophy, but i also feel the player that has earnt it should be able to take it home, so I feel a trophy for the player and a shield plaque in the history room with each player each season scribed onto it would work well.
