McKain worked hard and showed fight, Bruce gave us a target up front and his finish was sublime. Vidosic tried hard and was the only one offering a decent cross.

McKain's effort was outstanding and showed leadership with his actions, I don't know whether he was fit enough to see out the entire match but if he was then it was a big mistake taking him off. Djite showed spirit and some hunger to get us back in the game, regardless of his goal. Vidosic was probably the only one who consistently put in effort for the full 90-min.

The votes pretty much confirm that there were only 3 worth voting for. Of the rest, Euge was Euge, Golec was best of a poor backline, and Ramsay put a ball into the goal so I guess that's something.

The thing that really really annoys me about Boogard and Watson, two of our worst performers from the weekend, they are so damn mouthy when someone else makes a mistake or someone doesn't make the right run but they make so many mistakes its unbelievable. I remember when boogs came back into the squad it was because he's a good talker, I'd rather have a good defender.

problem is when a defender or keeper makes a mistake people want blood, midfielders and strikers repeatedly stuff up ie lose the ball or miss good opportunities and all is frogiven if they then run fast after the ball. Boogard did some good things but his stuff ups are too often.

To add to your point, Chelo had a horror game by his standards. Even simple touches he would lose control of the ball. One time in particular, we were breaking on the counter and the ball was switched to him and he completely f'ed it up and it went into touch for a WSW throwin.

I remember that one Ed, he just took his eyes off the incoming ball, looking up for a pass, looked down and the ball had gone past him. Would have been funny if we were a couple of goals up but not when you're a couple down.
