In the current circumstances, with him wanting to leave etc , you could not have played him without thinking that he would not have been putting in 100%, and worrying about getting a niggling or career threatening injury that would effect his next gig be it Indonesia or Perth.

Sad to see one of my favourite players leave, but that is the nature of football. He was good for us but his production/effort recently died right off towards the end there. Good Luck Serge.
As for the Marquee slot: my prediction is the club will just shuffle some numbers on the books and we will not get a 'marquee replacement' not in the true sense of the words marquee player.

Sad day to see a player that has been as good as Serg has been for us leave. Good luck Serg and thanks for the great memories.
Surely the club has a plan for who they will sign in his place. Not necessarily a centre forward. I would love to see us sign a player with real crossing ability as we're still struggling in that department.
