A man of impeccable judgement and values!Nice. If we do have to move away from Hindmarsh then walking distance to the Exeter would be my choice.I just saw the riverbank west stadium proposal. On the surface it looks like an awesome opportunity.

Couldn't be more excited about this! Its the format I've been wanting (as far as multi use goes) in exactly the location I've thought was perfect.
I'm yet to hear about any costs which I would expect to be near the figure it cost to redevelop Adelaide Oval. But considering this new stadium benefits Football, Tennis, Basketball, Arts and Business compared to predominantly just Cricket and Footy I think that's a better spend. Especially considering the stadium would have far more event days per year than what Adelaide Oval has.
As much as health, public safety and public services are important I'm probably going to vote for what ever party promises to make this a reality!
Please don't just become another pipe dream like the last time a new stadium was proposed!

Has this sort of "lifting the pitch to the roof for indoor events" been done anywhere else in the world? It kinda makes sense and would be cool but I'm worry about another "Retractable lights at Adelaide Oval" fiasco.
The idea of joining with all these other sports does give strength to the idea.

Yeah the light towers would no doubt be the first thing most Adelaidians think of! The issue with the light towers was that they cheaped out on it. Hopefully we've learnt our lesson.Has this sort of "lifting the pitch to the roof for indoor events" been done anywhere else in the world? Some good info in that. Some of the member "questions" were a bit cringey but that's normally what happens at these things
Re: Adelaide United - General Issues and Discussion
I really enjoyed that. Great to see how professional the club is becoming. Some real talent in the board room and across the coaching staff.
I also really enjoyed hearing the members' questions. 17 year members talking about the club and asking questions was heartwarming. These guys are so important to the club.
