We Are The Reds - Build It & They Will Come
As posted on the We Are The Reds facebook page;
Over the past few hours, we've been reading your disappointment at the loss of AdelaideReds.com.au, the simplistic supporters website officially brought to you by Adelaide United F.C.
We Are The Reds was built for this very reason, by volunteers of the community, to bring you information and media regarding the club, and although unofficial, we're still aiming to do just that.
The off-season may have been long, but we're just getting started.
Therefore, we ask the question; What is it that you want in a supporters website for Adelaide United?
Post your suggestions in the comments box below and we'll try to work together to make it happen. If we help each other, through both suggestions and dedicated volunteers, we can make We Are The Reds the website that we all want for our club and community.
So, get cracking with the ideas! We're reading and listening, so help us to help you!

Re: We Are The Reds - Build It & They Will Come
I think the biggest point that I would love to see kept from the Adelaide reds site was red out loud. If there was someway we can have a subforum on here whereby questions are submitted and a member of the club has an account and answers these questions.
I don't know if they still do it but I know this used to happen on MVFC.net years ago.

I'm happy to be one of a few people who post AU news on the site. As I live in the UK often I'm one of the first to read the Adelaidenow website as it updates at midnight Adelaide time. But unless I can do it from my phone I can't assure you that I will always be able to do it 100% of the time.

I completely agree with Shultzy though. If this site could somehow have the ability for fans to ask questions and have Glenn, Kossie or practically anyone from AU answer it, this site would go off!

What Schultz said, Red Out Loud was a response to cries that the club didn't communicate with fans enough. Definitely find a way to integrate it here.

Re: We Are The Reds - Build It & They Will Come
Thanks for the feedback guys, and just to validate, I'm hearing you loud and clear.
The unfortunate thing is, and as much as I do not want to publicly state this, we have never been contacted (not even an email to express interest) by the club regarding We Are The Reds or any type of partnership to engage with the fans.
As a website that represents the club unofficially, it makes you wonder what else is being ignored.
If the club were forward thinking, perhaps "Red Out Loud" would have been moved to adelaideunited.com.au prior to the announcement of the AdelaideReds retirement.

Thanks for the offer to volunteer. I will be in touch with you regarding updating content on the site.I'm happy to be one of a few people who post AU news on the site. There is a few things you'll need to know when posting news articles, but this can be provided to you easy enough.

Re: We Are The Reds - Build It & They Will Come
i would like to see some sort of tie with the two major supporter groups in the Red Army and Red Terrace.
nothing incredibly major where they have their own subforum or anything, but maybe a section on the main website promoting them both/promoting active support with photos, facebook/website links, maybe a little bio for info, an upcoming activities section and most importantly a chants section with lyrics.
not 100% sure if they'll be interested, but it would look fantastic to incorporate two important groups of the club with the website.
P.S. kudos to the WATR team for the new rebirth of the site. keep up the fantastic work.

Agree that Red Out Loud should be incorporated. I'm happy to help out in anyway to make this happen.
Also, would be happy to help add links of news to the site along with Stuckey.

Re: We Are The Reds - Build It & They Will Come
As I have offered Shane I want to bring this up at the AUMC Committee meeting, but I need to understand what you need - please help me to help you mate. I can't make it any clearer - tell me what you want from AUFC with regards to assisstance to make this the one stop and unstoppable spot for the club's supporters.

Re: We Are The Reds - Build It & They Will Come
There isn't much I really want from the club - The question is more of "What does the club want from WATR?"As I have offered Shane I want to bring this up at the AUMC Committee meeting, but I need to understand what you need - please help me to help you mate. I can't make it any clearer - tell me what you want from AUFC with regards to assisstance to make this the one stop and unstoppable spot for the club's supporters.
I don't even know if there is anything WATR can offer the club other than an unofficial page that supports Adelaide United F.C.
I'm happy to integrate a similar Q&A page on WATR to continue the 'Red Out Loud', but this will mean the club will need access to agree, and also login and post their responses.
Most of my queries are more related to how the club is run, their outlook on decisions by the FFA and what their plans are to increase support for the club both from an active support perspective and a general supporters perspective.
