This guy is a gun, he just runs and runs and runs, never gives up.

He could have dropped his head last night after missing the penalty and gone missing from the game, but he kept fighting and scored the winner. (Nice no look pass from Rambo by the way).

Marcos who?

Love this guy already, that was such a smart run !!

Funny thing is he isnt even our "good" argentine if you listen to the rumours and look at players history.

bad news he is only on a 1 year deal and will end up somewhere in asia next year im sure

Need to sign this guy up for longer. He's a gun - been so consistent.

He's contributed in some form to a goal in all of his appearances of all forms so far - bar one.

He's got great technique to go with the effort that he puts in. Obviously the finish for his goal last night was class and he rarely gets tackled, either he finds space or draws a foul.

I also rated his touch from Ramsay's cross in the first half, if only he put it away :-)

Even Fozzie dedicated a few paragraphs to jeronimo in his article.

If he ends up with a big asian contract then thats great for him and raises more awareness about au being a stepping stone.

But iftheowners allow himto be poached by another aleague side......thats a complet different thing

A couple of days before the game I mentioned how smart Jero is and the runs he makes. Again not all of them were found on Friday but nevertheless, one of his brilliant runs was and it was the deciding factor in the match. But this familiarity with Jero will get better and the team will definitely benefit. Who knows maybe he'll get the nod to start the match against the tards.

Hopefully he gets this form going a few more weeks and then maybe the gaffers at the club will be inclined to offer him a contract extension. Surely the FFA could do us a favour for once and donate a Hyundai to bribe Jero into signing an extension.

I don't think Asia would work for him.

Agreed; at least not the Chinese variety. Japan would suit him however the clubs are generally not looking for this type of foreign player.

Love the bloke, his defensive work is first class too.

That Jeronimo slide tackle is now a trademark move.

Didn't really enjoy the dive, but thats smart football in a way, its how Boogard got sent of against Bundy.

Loved the commentary, 'Are Adelaide fans thinking Marcos WHO?'
