IMO those critics were wrong from the get go. Sure he wasn't brilliant at the start of the HAL season but there were far more things at play then just his form. To lay the boot into him like that was poor form.

Re: Adelaide United V Nagoya Grampus Eight Match day Jambore
was there an altercation after the game? something about nagoya officials man handling our players?
Re: Adelaide United V Nagoya Grampus Eight Match day Jambore
WOW. Just got back. Best atmosphere at Hindmarsh in a long time. Those last 20 mins were insane - fckn love Serj - Please don't leave us!!!
Gecko, McKain (in fact everyone) were brilliant.
So is the QF now a double-leg?
EDIT: Just realised we did this without Malik!!!
We looked good.

Roar and mariners fans said we had an easy group, then we go and win against nagoya who absolutely pumped the. Ariners without kennedy.
Not to mention bunyodkor is 1 nil up against seongnam....no more excuses mariners and brisbane!!!

You know the tune...
One nil over the asian Arsenal
One nil over the asian Arsenal
One nil over the asian Arsenal
etc
(to the tune of Go West, if you did'nt know)
Mega result all played great (Vidosic )
Never been a McKain fan till now, impassable at the back and the goal, lets hope he's turned the corner.
Eugene was in overdrive, fantastic.
We were'nt outplayed and ran the game out easily
WE ARE CHAMPIONS - CHAMPIONS OF ASIA
Draw for the last 8 on June 12
1/4's end of sept and 1st week of Oct

Re: Adelaide United V Nagoya Grampus Eight Match day Jambore
Great fun indeed! I managed to get myself, another South Aussie, a West Australian, a Japanese and one Mongolian (our regular Nigerian was tied up at work, dammit) down to the local sports bar for the game. The Japanese and Mongolian were going for Nagoya
Great work from Cassio, Mullen looked assured and Eugene.... well the photo from Stuckey says it all really.
God I love being a South Australian.

Just another crazy Asian night down at Hindmarsh, eh?
Christ that last 10 minutes was tense, but the boys were immense. I thought Nagoya looked the goods for large parts of tonight, but those Reds stood up for us.
Well in boys!
