Sooner or later a grandfinal win will come our way, plus we already have a premiership under our belt. Thats just the way a salary cap driven league works.

I work on the hypothesis that a one-off domestic league win (Grand Final where available of course) is better than a continental title alone. However the 'double' is better than 2 domestic league titles in a row.

I had a dream last night that we won the A-League grand final 4-1, and Cassio scored a hat trick, including a long range bomb with the outside of his foot. I think it was Brisbane that we beat, though for some reason the match was played in front of about 200 people in the middle of Botanic Park.
Just thought I'd share.

Yeah, I'd prefer an ACL title too for some reason. It just seems 'bigger', both as an achievement and as an effort I guess. It makes a better story too. The lure of a 'rags v. riches' (almost) tale: a string-budget Australian club defies the odds and silences its critics and shocks its own fans by consistently knocking off other teams with expenditure dozens of times their own, all the way to the final.

That actually sounds kind of cool.
