Adelaide United star Dario Vidosic knocked on its head speculation that he might end up playing for Brisbane Roar, under the stewardship of his father Rado.

As the attacking midfielder eagerly awaits Adelaide's knockout clash with Japan's Nagoya Grampus in the AFC Champions League's round of 16, he said rumours he could join Brisbane were wide of the mark.

"I'm under contract with Adelaide United and as of now I am an Adelaide player so there is no truth in the speculation," the 25-year-old said.

"I'm not going anywhere and there is nothing to it at the moment.

"I'm happy with Adelaide and I'm enjoying my football. It's going well."

But what else is there for him to say? First time we've really heard him give his thoughts on the matter and they're at least positive.
