Very true, the squad mix age wise at the moment is perfect and I even think our attack/midfield/defense balance is pretty close to spot on. Makes the failure during the season even harder to take.Yeah i only mention issey and visconte as their names came up in the many rumours. We could get a golden handshake deal where we might get visconte and issey .
Its not really a trade more releasing players with the intention of them signing at said club....from what ive heard and read that what was possibly happening in january but never eventuated.
I found it very interesting on twitter, vidosic was tweeting all about brisbane in acl and the grand final, caravella replied with something like" nice of you to acknowledge your own clubs win in acl " ...( something like that)
Id rather support state league players who wanna play for the people in the stands that paid for their ticket.... Not a hotshot who wants to be somewhere else
Issey is off contract already and hasn't been seen around BR for a while (not a GF, not at the parade, nothing) and Visconte can take a flying leap As for Twitter, I see Dario tweeting about Barca more than he does anything else with AUFC being his next most common ones I would say.
Though id love visconte here, as we have such great local youth at the club currently almost the perfect mix of experience and youth.

Yep, atleast next year if we are shit again you know you are watching alot of homegrown talent and have a little more connection with then, not to mention having the priveledge of watching future stars develope again. ( this is something fans at aufc almost expect having watched burns , djite, leckie, oga all take the next step

Re: Vidosic?
Nice that Val agrees with me that the only way for BR to get Dario is if the Bakries purchase him for one of their other clubs and loan him, very funny

Rather than one playmaker what about two fast enterprising wingers?

Huh? Lmao. It doesn't make any sense.Makes a lot of sense imo.Rather than one playmaker what about two fast enterprising wingers?
Who's going to feed the two wingers balls? Warlocks?
It is possible to use two #8s and a #6 (or combinations there of) instead of a #8 #6 and a #10. You won't concede many goals, but you'll score even less and it will be some of the worst football you've ever seen. Anti-football.
Think the Melbourne Heart game end of the season and Viddie's last season in charge. No #10 (because Flores wasn't available as planned) two #8s (Hughes and Barbiero). Thats what you're gonna get ::vomit::

Re: Vidosic?
I think the conversation was about where to spend the money. ie. instead of a marquee playmaker and young wingers, get marquee wingers and a playmaker who can get the ball to them.

Re: Vidosic?
i don't want to cause an alarm bcoz i don't think there's an issue, but towards the end of training today Vidosic spat the dummy at Fyfe after a tackle and limped off (looked like his right ankle) down the race and didn't come back out. didn't look serious tho, here's hoping.

Re: Vidosic?
Coming from my own experience there is little more annoying then being on the end of an over zealous tackle from one of your team mates. Hope Dario pulls up fine.
Time to Djbate!
