Postby Stuckey Wed Apr 25, 2012 5:16 pm

The 2012 Adelaide United Junior Development Academy is now open for registrations and will be commencing on 16th-18th July 2012.

This specific identification program delivers a 12 week professional skill based program focussing on the development & improvement of technical ability for boys and girls throughout South Australia. Adelaide United’s Youth Team & Academy Coach Michael Valkanis will again formulate a high quality coaching plan together with senior Assistant Coach Luciano Trani, Strength & Conditioning Coach Peter Cklamovski and qualified coaches.

Sounds great, have your kids coached by Micky V. But wow! $495, or $450 for members. Thats a lot of cash. I wonder how popular these are?

Yea that's some hefty dosh, but it is 12 sessions, so it's a decent program. Works out to be about $40 a session. If I had a kid keen as punch to pursue football professionally, I'd happily pay it.

Take up of the Academy is solid, if my son enjoys himself playing for fun then I would look at enrolling him in the next years.
