Vidosic and van Dijk linked really well together, hard to gauge though when they were both fresh and they were playing tired opponents.

When vidosic had the ball he was taking on defenders and passing really well. Hoping to see him and SVD start next game and Bruce on the bench.
No way! After Brucey's winner! How could you do that!

Yeh I spose you have a point there. I'd love to have them both on the pitch at the same time but that just doesn't fit out winning formula I guess.

To have a quality player like serge sit on the bench just seems crazy especially when he's our marquee but DJ has the form and plays the lone striker role better at the moment. Tough decision.

Saw that Val asked if Owusu played. He started and played about 55-60mins. Had one great chance at about 5min mark with a free header but it went over the bar. Took on defenders and had a couple of good runs but all in all he was pretty quiet, didn't touch the ball at all in the second half. We dominated the possession completely in the second half unless you count the goalie picking the ball up out of the back of the net.

Although he is wearing number 25 in the advertiser pics. Not that that means much.

Definitely not, serge and Watson were calling him Eamon/Amon and he had a very very dark skin tone, was very very skinny and young.

Played LW when he came on, wasn't a superstar on the ball or anything, maybe from youth team.

For Year 11 student Awer Mabil, soccer has become a very serious business. Awer, along with Anthony Trimboli, is currently part of the Adelaide United Youth Squad which is a remarkable achievement for two lads so young. They have huge training and playing commitments and must display great discipline to keep up with the demands of their sport whilst balancing study, family life and social activities. This article looks in depth at Awer’s soccer story and the fascinating path he has travelled so far.

From footballnews apparently his name is Awer. Great news story I love hearing about the refugees getting an opportunity at a new life in Aus. These kids certainly bring a different flavour to teams. So many of these kids can just do things anglos can't. Brings a new dimension to matches.
