Golec signs on for 2 more years

Adelaide United FC is pleased to announce that defender Antony Golec has inked a new two year deal with the club, which will keep him in Adelaide until 2014.

Initially signed on a one year contract, the 194cm Sydney born defender could be excused for having an extra spring in his step tomorrow night in the Reds’ match against Gamba Osaka after securing his future in the Hyundai A-League for at least the next two seasons.

Great news for both club and Anthony.
But I thought AU said they weren't going to make any player signings till that have a coach in place. Kossie isn't definate yet? There definately hasn't been anything announced about that offically. I guess this must mean it is a done deal also.

i assume they mean new signings, not re-signings. makes sense. Golec would have been picked up quickly by most A-League imo if we left his renewal too late.
