I'm fine with it being Kossie. Everyone says they want Australian coaches. Tick. Everyone wants someone who knows the culture of the club. Tick. Everyone wants someone with passion. Tick tick! I think he is showing signs that the squad is on the improve. Hopefully he will bring in some fresh faces that will work with his system it appears he'll have the chance to sign a marquee player if Serg leaves :( so I am positive about the future if Kossie is in it.

Don't really care who the coach is as long as they don't go for someone espousing some transcendental non-results based philosophy (including SHOULD BE ALL LOCALS!!!111).

Kosmina has done ok, but increasingly underwhelmed towards the end of the season. Perhaps he will still meet my private standards for him to continue with an ACL campaign that leads at least to the quarter finals

An amazing ACL campaign may change my mind about Kossie but so far it's been a bit disappointing. I feel like he doesn't bring in tactical changes when we are chasing a game and his substitutions are wrong/late/non-existent.

Please Kossie, Amaze me!

Kossie needs to learn more and get his coaching ticket.

Being bit of a character isn't sufficient credentials for the job.

He doesn't need to be the manager to do any of that. If he is placed in the Football Directors role kossie can make sure the culture of the club remains intact despite when the "manager" tries to do harm, and he can inject the passion when the "manager" seems to dry it up. I just can't see Adelaide United moving forward as a club with kossie in charge.

Personally I think Kossie has more tricks up his sleeve then a lot of you guys give him credit for.
But if AU have the money and want to bring in a big foreign coach great but I would rather see us go local with a coach that can instill a good system that works for Australian players and their mentality. I personally think Kossie does have a grasp on that.

He needs to get his A license for pragmatic reasons, nothing else. It's basically some fancy FIFA rent-seeking, nothing more, which is probably why those over at SBS seem to think it's so important

No doubt your probably right, but based on some of the performances the team have put in since he's been in charge there is reason to worry about our chances if he is appointed for next year!
All said and done if we perform well in the ACL he is more than likey going to get the job.

I'd be happy for Kossie to have the chance to build his own squad for next season.
All I need is some tasty waves, a cool buzz, and I'm fine.

IMO Kossie just earned his new contract. To turn this same squad around from to form of the HAL season to what we witnessed is honestly little short of genius!
