Re: ACL sounds fine....
you're kidding? source??
off topic slightly, why is Cassio flying over? surely he can't play the first match and we are hoping the Persipura match was not technically a part of the competition...

No source, but as others have said it does seem as if afc are waiting for the cas decision , which means AFC knows we were in breach.you're kidding? source??

The problem is ( atleast i think ) the cas decision is march 6th, the match in tashkent is also march 6th.
Persipura have also been told to get their passports ready.
Im very disappointed how little press our little predicament has got outside of our state. Barely a mention on fox sports or twg , none of the big football pundits even tweeting about it

Shin-
Was mentioned on fox sports FC as the "Cassio debacle" and just mentioned on tonight's pre game, still not enough press IMO either

Re: ACL sounds fine....
Adelaide's season, this debacle, and the whole Clive Palmer / FFA thing has me wondering whether Curling might be a better sport to support. The only good thing this year has been how shite MVFC has been.
Re: ACL sounds fine....
Yeah I've conceded this season and the ACL. If by some miracle we're allowed to play, we should finish bottom of the group by current form.
Forget about this season, don't lose sleep over it, and let's pray that all the sh*t is sorted out next season. Still support the team in their endeavours but having too high an expectation will leave us disappointed.

Statement release by the club that Cassio isn't flying out with the team.
ACL and AU are hoping the CAS decision goes our way and Cassio will serve the ban against Bunyodkor.

No mention of Cassio being suspended for match day 1. I guess that means he could have played?

[quote="Val"]not all has been revealed I believe[quote]
IMO it sounds like AFC have said shit AUFC are in thr wrong but we don't want Pursipura in the ACL and go back on what we said to we'll just ignore this issue and once AUFC kick off in the ACL we can make up something then because it will be too late anyway.
