....very wrong
I was happy for Dodd to accept the deal for a longer term with Perth because I thought he didnt warrant a 3yr term
I was comfortable with Flores leaving, AFTER we signed Vidosic as a replacement
I honestly thought McCain was a great buy - very happy to let Cornflakes go
I genuinely thought we had built a good enough squad to compete this season
I hoped that Ramsay would take a giant leap forward this season
I was reasonably satisfied that we had signed Dilevski
Because Lev, seemed to be on the radar for a while, I hoped that he would be good enough
I wanted Caravella to be back to his best
I honestly believed that Slory was going to be a bit special with a big off-season behind him
I was genuinely optimistic about our hopes this season.
I was so wrong - pehaps other people associated with the Club, should admit that too.........
PS - An apology to the dwindling crowds wouldnt go amiss.
PPS - we can't blame tonight on missed chances - we were devoid of any opportunities, that performance was uninspiring, boring, crass and doesnt really excite me for going down to Hindmarsh on Thursday night.
Le sigh
Ok, I'm willing to admit, I was wrong.....

Nothing wrong about being hopeful about the oncoming season. You're not a real fan if you aren't IMO!

Only thing we can hope is the club is able to rebuild for next season and get rid of the dead weight and bring players and staff in to support the players we have that are worth keeping like .... Ummm... And... Ummm.. Hmmm... I'm sure we do have good players... Just can't think of them after tonight
Serge, Djite, Vidosic, Boogard, Ramsay, Barbs, Caravella and Galeckovic are worth keeping I think, maybe not all starting 11 though.

On paper all of those things you mentioned were quite good options.
It seems what was going on in the backrooms of the club is the real issue.
When you sell the most exciting plauer this league has seen for 400k with a year left on his contract.... You know something is up!!
I think the club needs to man up, admit it scrwed up to its fans and work on getting our identity back

Ppl who slap the label of truth on the 1st thing they hear, do it out of ignorance, convenience or cant be bothered picking through a thin layer of falsehood to find the real truth, or possibly even another lie

allot of people were in the same boat, as long as it's lessons learnt and the same mistakes aren't repeated then it won't be a season wasted.

what you said about the back room is spot on , i dont no for sure , but i think the club is a mess selling players that shouldnt of been sold , the players we do have dont look happy , and we are second to bottom ,when you look at the first post, that is exacltly how i felt , shit has it gone wrong or whatOn paper all of those things you mentioned were quite good options.
