THE Asian Football Confederation has named a referee with FA Cup experience to handle tonight's potentially explosive clash at Hindmarsh.

Japan's Masaaki Toma has been given the responsibility of ensuring FIFA's Fair Play motto stands up in the AFC Champions League qualifier between Adelaide United and Persipura.

Toma made history last November when the FA made him the first non-British or Irish official to referee an FA Cup tie.

I really hope Perispura don't stoop to the Chinese level and spend the entire game rolling around on the floor.
