Sorry if there was another thread I hadn't seen it.

But have to say this kid was so impressive for Heart last night, but How did he trial TWICE and we not snap him up? how are we letting local talent like this go?

yes, was an awesome debut. i initially assumed it was our old mate rini's doing... but according to val, he had nothing to do with it. apparently joe mullen had the chance to sign him for the youth team in 2010.

even if we did get the chance to sign him up latter down the track... you wouldn't imagine he would be too keen, seeing as though we rejected him twice!

Yeah knocked back from our squad twice. Well we can't sign them all! Good luck to the lad definately has faith in him self to keep on trying. Seems silly AU went with Norton and Melbourne went with Goodwin and Marrone!

CRAIG Goodwin was rejected by Adelaide United after bad luck tore a dream Scottish contract to shreds.

But that hasn't stopped him becoming the talk of the A-League.
