Legea announced for ACL kits.
Adelaide United FC is delighted to announce a new and exciting partnership with apparel supplier Legea (Sports Portal) for its AFC Champions League 2012 campaign.
Legea will be the Reds’ official kit supplier for the prestigious Asian club competition, exclusively supplying all of the team’s authentic on-field and off-field apparel. The club is extremely pleased with the quality and range of gear that Legea (Sports Portal) has supplied and looks forward to displaying it during its six matches in the Group Stage.
Media release just sent out by club.

Not a bad football brand but it always seems to be the el cheapo South American countries that wear this. I'd love to see us in primo Adidas, Nike or Puma. Actually Puma for sure I love the Brissy kits

Would love to have had Adidas, Sydney FCs kit looks awesome. I can just imagine a nice red strip with black triple stripes along the top seam.

could we find ourselves in trouble again?

AFC Equipment regulations state that the playing tops must have a number on the front of shirt.
Section 5
10)b)
The player’s number must also be displayed on the front of each
shirt in any position at chest level. The number must be between
10 cm (ten centimeters) and 15cm (fifteen centimeters) in height,
clearly legible and be the same colour as the number on the back
of the shirt.

it also says though that tops must be submitted for approval no less than 8 weeks prior to the competition.
so im guessing AFC approved it?
Section 7
58)b)
b) The Participating Club shall submit to the AFC Secretariat the abovementioned
equipment by latest eight (8) weeks prior to the start of
the Competition. If any equipment submitted infringes any of the
AFC Equipment Regulations and/or these Regulations, AFC will
require the Participating Teams to take corrective action and resubmit
to AFC the corrected equipment. In addition, Participating Clubs may
be required to present samples at the Club workshop.

Whats going on down there at Hindmarsh!
-shocker new kits
-no numbers on the front
-only take bare minimum squad to Tashkent
-play Cassio even though he is suspended

I think the lack of admin staff at AU is starting to take its toll!

(edit: this is now extra material to Stuckey's post :p)

This surely would be too much of a technicality to be of an issue, but knowing our luck who knows.

I'm a bit skeptical of some of the processes down at Hindmarsh. I mean first Cassio is played when suspended (surely someone must have known).

Then I hear that only 16 players flew to Uzbek (WTF seriously, didn't anyone read the rules).

Now this, although very minor, is still an oversight.

How hard is it to have someone across all these ACL issues. Hire me FFS or anyone else on this forum, I'm sure we could do that job and it would save everyone a lot of headaches.

Replace the white with yellow and add a little blue trim somewhere and you have an AUFC shirt.

Fit the shirts better, lose the collar, different font for name and numbers. Like the idea of some blue trim just to make it interesting as it is very plain as it is.
