Re: ACL Kit
Sometimes I think that there are a lot of non 'football people' down at that club.
From the lady at the front desk to the person who makes these decisions on kits. I mean jeezuz, just rip off the A League badge off our regular kit and change the font of the numbers or something, anything would be better than that kit!

Re: ACL Kit
What does one have to do to be regarded a football person.
Ive often heard some rather large people in the stands use this term but they clearly dont play football atleast not for the past 10 years..
I just hope one day....one day.the footbal click can regard me as a football person.....

Re: ACL Kit
its not about playing football. its about being involved with football over a period of time.
im still amazed by all the clubs oversights in the past couple of months. surely there are people in the club that were there before the ownership change? rossi? petrillo? surely they would have known the limit of players on the bench or about the number on the front of shirt

Re: ACL Kit
Call me crazy but maybe the club took 16 players because it knew there was no need for anyone else, not forgetting wehosted a match that did not need to happen at our expense so cutting costs isnt such a bad thing.
In regards to the numbers on the front, the afc would have cleared the shirts , if so what is the problem.

Re: ACL Kit
I tend to agree, however the AFC also supposedly cleared Cassio to play against Persipura and wasn't that a saga...In regards to the numbers on the front, the afc would have cleared the shirts , if so what is the problem.

Re: ACL Kit
I have never played a game of football in my life. Not even in a park.
I consider myself a 'football person' because I activly follow a team. I bet half the people in the office down there are not even remotely passionate about United as I am. I am just saying there seems to be a lot of 'ahhhhhhh she will be right' - this kit screams of it. I mean how poxy is it.. We are meant to be representing the A League and Australia!

I think we are doing it quite well, by being the only Aussie side to win in the first matchday. We are meant to be representing the A League and Australia!

Re: ACL Kit
Just watching the MV v SYD game and they are both Adidas strips. Apart from the collar on Sydney's and the Fluro yellow on melbournes, they are both really good looking kits.
Is there any major difference on pricing on the kits from the clubs perspective?

Re: ACL Kit
I actually didn't mind the kits, they just need to be fitted better is all.

If they ever become available I think I'll buy one about 5XL just to remember the ridiculousness of the moment.

Re: ACL Kit
I just noticed that they're still the ugliest farken kits in our club's history.
We're winning, so I'm trying not to let it bother me at this point in time.

Re: ACL Kit
I meant to post about the kit.
It is bit ordinary in the real life it looks more pink than red, or someone has just over washed or put bleach in the wash with what was a red kit.
Should have gone with the black kit looks more sinister
