Good news about fred. I read that mckain e dilevski did alright though against Wellington? So hope it doesn't have a major impact, looking forward to this one, it's a major test for both teams in their own respective ways. Adelaide looking to continue the revival and heart hoping to prove they're the real deal. Could go either way, let's just hope it's our way.

McKain's wife, Marie, is due to deliver a younger sibling to sons William and Benjamin on Thursday, potentially robbing the Reds of his services for the match at AAMI Park.

McKain missed Benjamin's birth while playing for Wellington Phoenix and is adamant he will be putting his family first this time.

This 'marathon' is the worst idea ever. It could have worked fine on a weekend, or even last week when basically nobody was at work. Not only does it start in the middle of a work day, but the A-league has minimised scheduling games in the most popular period of the year (xmas-NY day) in order to make room for it.
