Kossie wants Reid back

JETTISONED Paul Reid may be on his way back to Adelaide United.

Adelaide coach John Kosmina said only logistics would stand in the way of Reid coming back after the relationship between ex-boss Rini Coolen and the midfielder became heated last season.

Kosmina - a fan of Reid - met the current NSW state league player after Adelaide's 2-2 draw with Sydney FC at the Sydney Football Stadium on Thursday night.

"There are a whole lot of options we do need to look at for the AFC Champions League and Paul Reid has been through two campaigns," Kosmina said.

I reckon if he comes back plays well all will be forgotten very quickly.
I hope he comes back we miss his skill.

Well he's going to have to play damn well to get back into my good books !

I just wonder if he's still capable of playing at the same level seeing as he could only land a gig in the NSW state league.

Dont waste your time and money. He ditched the club in a very important finals series. Dont want players like that at this club.

Thing is, I can't remember any of the playing group saying anything against him during the finals last year.

And Reidy never came out against the club or fans. It was a sorry situation probably not handled that well by anyone involved, but if he's willing to commit I'd have no problem with him coming back.

He can take Caravella's spot in the starting 11 and we may see the ball played forward sometimes.

While he would be a great addition to the team right now, I still would feel dirty letting him back on the pitchin a red shirt.
