Adelaide United Members Club Inc. AGM

The AGM will be held after the end of the financial year in June 2012, the date will be communicated to members in due course. At the AGM the following will occur:

Presentation of Audited Accounts
Chairman's Report
Committee Elections
Only financial members can attend the meeting
Member Functions

We have planned two member functions for the new year. Current financial members will be able to join the players and coaches at the following:



Tapestry Wines - McLaren vale

Courtesy of Rob and Fay Gerard, FINANCIAL MEMBERS are invited (along with their partners) to enjoy Sunday 5 February at this spectacular venue. From 12.30pm, members will enjoy exclusive access to the winery, a BBQ , Tapestry Wines and Coopers Beer. Members attending should bring their own chairs and soft drinks. Licensing dictates that this function is limited to 200 people. Registrations of attendance must be received before by 5pm Friday 20 January 2012. If you are bringing a guest, please specify your partner’s name in the appropriate field. If the field is left blank, it will be assumed that you are coming alone.



Reds Trots Night at Globe Derby Park



Again a Financial Members night out, with FREE access upon showing your current members keyring. Players in attendance, and a designated function area to be advised. Date to be confirmed.



Members Information Night

Held in the Reds Room at Hindmarsh Stadium on Monday 19 December, 5.30pm to 7pm. Football updates from Coach Rini Coolen, Club updates from CEO Glenn Elliott. Due to space restrictions, the number will be limited to 200 per night. We will schedule another information night should the demand arise. Registrations of attendance must be received before 5pm Thursday 15 December. This is strictly for FINANCIAL MEMBERS ONLY.

Most of the financial members would not have been taken up by kids & families, I reckon most are like myself were even though I am a family season ticket holder I am the only financial member.

Surely the club should be doing its best to encourage the next generation of supporters ? They’re not going to achieve that with piss ups at the winery and the dog track.

I don't think Financial Membership is really targeted at the next generation of supporters, it's more the current adult fanbase with the disposable income to spare to contribute towards the club's cash flow.

Have the club released a tally on the take up of Financial Memberships to date?
