Re: Cassio gone for season?
So... correct me if I'm wrong but what you're saying is that Cassio's foot "injury" is psychosamatic and it's all in his head, brought on by the depression resulting from the club's poor start to the season ?Must say I had thought there was something wrong with Cassio from the start of the season, no pep , lots of hands on hips and the occasional hobble.
So its a mystery foot ailment that needs treatment in Brazil.
Funny the effects losing can have on players
as we never seemed to have many injuries when the ACL games were on.
And the moon boot he's wearing is just the medicos way of alleviating his anxiety yes ?
Interesting theory.
Re: Cassio gone for season?
What was that on 10 news tonight?????.
As we know Cassio is off to sunnier climes in Brazil so his own bloke that fixed his knee last year can fix him up again.
Heres the crunch He says he does'nt trust AU medical staff and the only way AU can contact him is through his lawyer.
Does anyone else think there is anything wrong in that!!!!!!!!!

At his age you can't blame him for wanting to have the best treatment to return to the top of his game.

Re: Cassio gone for season?
He shouldn't have said that in public but it's no secret he doesn't trust the AU medical staff. When he did his knee our medicos said he had torn his ACL and needed surgery... goes back to his brazilian doctor "Oh no, it's just strained"... was back on deck after a couple of months. So would you trust our medicos? With our injury history? What was that on 10 news tonight?????.

Read in the paper yesterday that the board has asked for a complete review of the medical team due to fuck-ups like this.

I'm more concerned about the lawyer comment...
Its not uncommon for ex-players to go home for medical treatment - Cahill does it and Kewell used to often...

At the end of the day, everyone has the rite to choose what happens to their own body, if cassio wants someone else to work on him and it could see him playing sooner then good luck to him

Hope it's not another example of a well-liked, senior player cracking the shits with the club
All I need is some tasty waves, a cool buzz, and I'm fine.
