All I need is some tasty waves, a cool buzz, and I'm fine.

Re: 7 weeks in, Whats the best formation?
From what I recall we used to play this sort of formation a bit, with Salley as the midfield destroyer, and it was solid as fuck but lacked a bit of penetration because Cristiano didn't have the ability as a lone striker (unlike Serg) and Diego was generally a fairly lazy prick in behind (unlike Vidosic and Barbiero). This is what I would like to see, a 4-1-4-1 with Usucar sitting in front of the back 4 and Barbiero/Vidosic paired up behind van Dijk (Barbs for the energy, Vido for the football brain). I know plenty prefer Vidosic on the right but I think he's just as good centrally and we need his class there to get the midfield ticking the way it should. Watson is a must, he gives it everything and is very underrated for what he does. Susak in at LB given Cassio's bum foot. McKain keeps his spot and his captaincy despite a few poor decisions (and despite Val's calls for him to give up the armband), give him a chance to play himself back into form.
Bench: Birighitti, Levchenko, Mullen, Djite

I like your general premise but like anything it'd need a bit of adjustment as form and availability change - for example I don't think barbs has been in good enough form lately to demand a starting midfield role.
I'd also fit Levchenko in somewhere, think he has something to add if put in the right position.

I wouldnt mind seeing McKain get a run in the centre of midfield. He has played in that role before, and since he is struggling a bit in defence, maybe pushing him up a bit higher will give him more freedom. Then play Boogaard and Susak as the starting centre-backs! Just a suggestion lol

We could use Alemao pretty much anywhere on the pitch, the only positions he didn't play were LB, LM and goalkeeper, an absolute gun of a player who should never have been cut.Alemao at right back

Too inconsistent and flattered to deceive – waste of a visa spot imo.We could use Alemao pretty much anywhere on the pitch, the only positions he didn't play were LB, LM and goalkeeper, an absolute gun of a player who should never have been cut.Alemao at right back

We will have to agree to disagree, he was 'inconsistent' only because he filled in gaps in our team sheet and never had a spot to call his own.Too inconsistent and flattered to deceive – waste of a visa spot imo.We could use Alemao pretty much anywhere on the pitch, the only positions he didn't play were LB, LM and goalkeeper, an absolute gun of a player who should never have been cut.Alemao at right back

Just putting a curve ball out there: Ramsay looked far better at left back than he has on the wing all year.

His defending was not the best, rojas made him look foolish, but you have to expect that imoJust putting a curve ball out there: Ramsay looked far better at left back than he has on the wing all year.
