although i hope Flores returns and does so successfully, i also hope that by then our league will be at a level where a player like Flores will be just one of many talents out on the park each round.

mmm sounds like you know something! Do you mean changes to the club's bank account maybe a couple of extra zeros at the end of the profit coloumn or staff and management changes?

He will be back when he gets signed by one of the clubs with serious money backing them who can compete for his wage demands that other Asian clubs can meet - even for a bench player.

Go and have a listen to Four Four Two Insider podcast’s season preview (29 September 2011, at least I think it was that one). I reckon Aidan Ormond gave a big hint as to why he left.

Heard on the grapevine that he was pissed the club wouldn't up his pay to a level nearer what he thought he was worth, even though what he was after was substantially less than the HAL's biggest earners.

Couple that with Coolen not being a fan, and Griffin looking to generate revenue, and the obvious answer was to cash him in.

Sucks for as as fans though.
