ADELAIDE United has been offered the services of exciting FC Koln midfielder Thomas Broich from the German Bundesliga.
The German's agent Rob Schneider sent Adelaide's football department DVDs of the former under-21 international, nicknamed Mozart for his love of classical music and literature.
Broich, 28, is out of contract at the end of the Bundesliga season. He is keen to play in the A-League after falling in love with Australia on holiday last year.
Broich might be the ideal "missing link" in Adelaide's line-up after captain Travis Dodd and keeper Eugene Galekovic won peer accolades for stunning form in the 2008 AFC Champions League and FIFA Club World Cup in Japan.
