Re: Sell out next friday...
Club site says they are still holding back some seats for late season ticket take ups, I wonder how many?
They should have a cut off date for buying season tickets so those seats can be sold the general public...although I guess it's a pretty rare that we sell out.

You can buy a season ticket with only 3 home games left in the season it doesnt matter what part on the season we are in.
I really nave no sympathy for those that missed out, we knew the fixtures months ago so people had plenty of opportunity.
Is anyone else feeling a bit of a cringe factor in regards to the media claiming the sell out js due to harry kewell?
Sure he will be attracting fans no doubt, but we had 21k to the last victory game, i think it was always going to sell out regardless. It seems anything positive this season will be credited to harry kewell and brett emerton.
Never mind the fact that its the most passionate rivalry in the league, or that our club has strong ties in the community, or that au fans may be super excited to see our own new signings.
Its a great day in adelaide today, better thank harry for that too lol

Will this be the first sold out league fixture in the A-league's history? (not including finals)

Re: Sell out next friday...
you could say that about season tix as well, my concern is that there are seats available but the stadium is "sold out".I really nave no sympathy for those that missed out, we knew the fixtures months ago so people had plenty of opportunity.
I don't care about people missing out, I care about maximising attendance, and hence revenue for the club.
Could not agree more here! I think it is really selling us short! Is anyone else feeling a bit of a cringe factor in regards to the media claiming the sell out js due to harry kewell?

Re: Sell out next friday...
The 9 pre-Kewell Victory games at Hindmarsh failed to sell out. The fist game with Kewell did sell out.Is anyone else feeling a bit of a cringe factor in regards to the media claiming the sell out js due to harry kewell?

Probably a fair assumption that this one wouldn't have either without him.
While the game at AO last year got 21k, I doubt that it would have sold out if it had been played at Hindmarsh (SACA members, ppl who only go to the AO games etc).

Re: Sell out next friday...
Who cares the reason why its a sell out. Just enjoy the fact that is. Hindmarsh is a great place to be when its rocking to noise of 15k South Aussies and a few hundred cross border folk.
