"Friendly" v MVFC September 23

Not sure why people think this will sell out.

It is a pre season friendly.

If you are a member you get a free ticket.

If you are a season ticket holder you don't.

I went to the club shop in person. It's not hard.

Well apparently 11k tickets have been sold, its only wednesday plus the walk up crowd. Id say this will sell out.

Im curious how this will impact on our first home game which is against mv also.

Will it wash some of the gloss away from our first home game and diminish the harry factor? Or will it bring in new fans and potentially get them hooked.

I'm pretty sure pax numbers are unreliable in terms of ticket sales.

apparently Fox Sports were saying they expect a huge crowd looking at ticket sales during the Olyroos game last night. that's what my mate said at least.

i was going to just grab a ticket at the gate... may have to re-think that idea. i was only expecting 8,000 at the match, especially with such a blockbuster AFL match on that night too.

In the paper today it said a crowd of over 10k was expected, defintely conflicting reports
