What about in regards to season ticket holders? I applied for my season ticket on the 15th of August (nearly a month ago) and was told then that I would have a phone call within the week to confirm my seat.

I rang up again last week and was told the same thing.

Does anyone know what is going on? Has anyone received their season tickets or know where they're sitting?

I suspect that some of the issue might be with renewing red season tickets. Mine defaulted to the new blue section and considered changing back to the red section a change of seat.

Has anyone been down today to collect their membership packs yet?
Collect? You mean they're not posting them out?

In regards to the $65 membership that has nothing to do with ticketek,

There is an option to get them sent in the mail but that costs and extra $5

For those worried about their season tickets not being allocated - I rang them again today and they have finally got a seat for me. They said they haven't had a chance to call everyone regarding their seat so if you haven't heard anything and want to give them a call, the number is 1300100336.

Looks like Members are going to receive a constitution from the club for the Adelaide United Members Club Inc. looking forward to seeing what it contains as well as the Members Day at Gerrard's winery.

Interesting that commitee members can only be nominated by financial members... Its to be seems like those of us who put up the 60 bucks will get quite a bit back for it

my first thing if I were to be elected to the Members commitee thing is remove the additional payment and include it in the season ticket.

I cant beleive they have the nerve in the email to say inaugural AUFC Member.. what did it say on my bumper sticker and pin last year.
Dear "glasses jono"

On behalf of the Club we are pleased to welcome you as an inaugural AUFC Member. It is the first step toward achieving the goal of becoming a membership based sporting entity of which all can be proud.

For the record the key objects of the Club contained in the Constitution include but are not limited to the following:

· Support and encourage the game of soccer in South Australia

· Promote god fellowship amongst members of the Club and associated social facilities

By joining you will now be eligible to:

· Vote for the election of three Committee Members at the Annual General Meeting

· Candidates must be nominated by a current financial Member, of which your one.

All of this information will be available to you upon receipt of the Adelaide United Members Club Inc Constitution.

So where to from here?

We would like to provide the following Club update:

· Hindmarsh Stadium

The challenge for the Club is negotiate a stadium deal which provides long term security for United. Currently we pay a significant fee for each match day offset by ticket sales from which Ticketek take a fee. The Club does not receive any income from catering. A future deal must provide an upside for both United and Government whilst at the same time keeping the game affordable for the fans

· Pre Season Matches

We hope you enjoyed the games which were included in your membership – especially the Harry Kewell match.

· Members Day @ Tapestry Wines – McLaren vale

All financial members will be invited to a Players/Coaches day courtesy of Tapestry Wines owned by Robert Gerard – date and further to be advised shortly

· 2011/12 Expectations

We look sound on paper, but performance is another matter. The win against the Victory at Hindmarsh was a fantastic result, but the Perth and Sydney matches were certainly a wakeup call with the sobering reality of playing Brisbane Roar this week at Suncorp Stadium

Thanks for the support

Go the Reds

I am going to nominate myself for the committee, but I will back anyone who has the interests of members and the goal of assisting the transition from franchise to club at their core.

I personally see that those of us who have purchased the financial membership are inaugural members of this type. Only the NSL inaugural members can be viewed as having greater weight than us as far as I am concerned.
