Andrej Rastovac (30yo, 1.85m)
Played an hour for AUFC last night he looked solid in the left full back position.

He currently plays for White City and last season played for Farul Constanţa in the second div of Romania.

So is this bloke a CB or a fullback? (on the other thread you have him in the centre).. Or can he play both positions well?

Cos I would imagine we have left back pretty well covered with Cassio, Norton and also Usucar/Dilevski who can probably play there as utilities and do a job.

Mind you I think we're pretty sorted at CB with Mullen, Boogaard, McKain and Malik.. as well as Levchenko who can apparently drop back there..

Is this guy the 'Croatian utility player' that someone was suggesting we were having a look at? (even though he's Slovenian, close enough )..
jeez there are going to be a lot of quality players fighting just to get on the park!

I mean he's a left sided central defender. I'm not sure if he's a left footer or not but thats where he played.

These sort of guys (experienced local players) are probably good to look at to round out the squad. Do you reckon he looks solid enough to threaten Mullen/Boogs for a starting position?

Well I'm no Rini Coolen but he wasn't a presence like McKain. Looked better then Bodrusic (but i wasn't very impressed with him.) Not a bad option if he was to be on a minimum wage. I guess the only question is what standard is Slovenian First and Second div and Romainian second div like?

Can't be much good as he plays for a team that's 5th in the Premier League and a team that has shipped 28 goals whilst only scoring 27.

At his age worth a look maybe? but there must be a truckload of younger LB's out there that are just as good.
