ADRIAN Madaschi is on Adelaide United's wish list, which may scuttle Iain Fyfe's return to his home town.

Korean reports have suggested Fyfe has already been granted an early release from his contract with Busan I'Park, six months after he was sold during January's FIFA transfer window for an estimated $150,000.

Madaschi - a team-mate of former Reds defender Fyfe during the Joeys' run to the 1999 FIFA World Cup final - revealed Adelaide was a potential future club but he would decide after his wedding this month.

Would love to think we could fit both Fyfey and Madaschi in. I don't see why they couldn't - as Stuckey said - take advantage of the Australian marquee spot. Don't have to offer extravagant money, just don't need to count it as part of the salary cap.

Madaschi almost came when viddie was incharge and he was set to earn 200k a season. Its almost bitter sweet id love to see madaschi here but at the same time wanna see fyfe come home.

Who else do we need to sign to make our squad complete? I know we have alot of spots left but we already have such depth so id like to think we can sign both , maybe a young attacking mid and then some youth.

Well we have 5-7 spots to fill on our squad with roughly $400,000 left. I would guess Madaschi would still require around $200,000 and Fyfe would probably be on around $100,000. So even if we signed young players on minimum around $50,000 i think we won't make it. So i reckon he'd have to be a marquee for them both to fit.
