Not really a surprise, he was told middle of last season to look elsewhere.
Good luck to him in NZ
Despite his waning speed and ability, he was one of the few players that did put in when things were tough in the last 2 seasons.
Hope he does well (except against us)

Probably wouldn't have got much game time next season. And now I imagine freed up some room in the cap to bring in some more promising players.

I can see him fitting in at the Nix nicely. Good luck Lucas!
Its terrible to say but i'm glad he left I just saw a 29 year old Pantelis sitting on the bench for us a bit of a waste instead of possibly the next Leckie or Burns.
I hear he took a serious pay cut to stay at AU instead of going to Brisbane the other year and 101 A-league appearances for us is nothng to sneeze at.

Pants' professionalism was on show for all to see last season, glad he has had this opportunity as he should get a lot more game time with WP than with us.
