I hope where ever he goes he's happy. I was so sad to see him leave AU he was such and fantastic player. Its amazing how long a yea in football is. One year you're club champion then next you're surplus to requirements

He had one really great season where he was probably one of the best wingers in the comp, then for some reason he seemed to lose all his touch and confidence. I was hoping he would turn it around but he never really seemed to, moving him on was sad but in retrospect the right decision for Adelaide, didn't really grab the bull by the horns at NQ and at this stage seems to be a state league player or an A-League squaddie at best.
All I need is some tasty waves, a cool buzz, and I'm fine.

Last I heard (bout a week ago) he had signed a short term deal with Adelaide City.
He seems to still want to put himself in the shop window for the a-league.

I heard that contract negotiations with Big Red have fallen through and we're looking for a new guy for the "Guy in a giant kangaroo suit" position.

Re: Spagnolo
I think in his final season he was pretty hard done by. He got bugger all game time from Viddie and when he came on he often changed the way we were playing (for the better!) We seemed to have much more attacking intent when he was on the field. But as soon as he decided to leave that was the end of his game time.Key word highlightedI hope where ever he goes he's happy.
